About Health Edition About Health Edition

Health Edition is a weekly, independent publication from Krysgar Communications Inc. that has been in production since 1996. Our mission is to help Canadians stay on top of developments to their health care system, and to foster dialogue about health reform.

Each week, we sift through thousands of items from dozens of news sources, government and other organizations, and Hansard (the official record of the proceedings of the federal House of Commons in Ottawa as well as each of the 10 provincial legislatures). On top of this, we write articles featuring interviews with the top newsmakers in health care across Canada.

For subscription and other information, we can be reached at:

Intellectual Property and Privacy

We are very careful in preparing Health Edition to respect copyright laws in Canada. While we prepare short summaries of articles that have appeared in newspapers or other information sources, we do not copy any text or quote extensively from any one article. Sources are listed for your reference, and if you would like to read the original article we would be pleased to send you complete bibliographical details.

Privacy is something else that is important to us. To read our privacy policy click here.

Bilingualism

It is regrettable that, at this time, Health Edition is a unilingual English publication even though we cover health care events in Québec, the National Assembly and the French-language Québec media. Unfortunately, logistical constraints and our production timetable make it impossible to offer a French-language version of Health Edition. Some day, we hope to address this inequity.
